To create a new cache directory you must open the main window and drag a folder to the GeocacheDownloader icon (the icon is located at the bottom of the main window).
You can start downloading the information from the caches located in the list and choose which image to download for each cache (geoXML text file). The images and information can be copied to a.txt or.csv file.
You can choose the name of your cache directory and the folder will be created in the specified directory.

Why Google Maps API is not the best option?
Because you would have to get the cache from Google Maps, download the cache file, and then get to the cache file information, is time consuming, and it is limited.
The application needs the caches information and images be placed in a directory so they can be downloaded easier. The application already works when the cache is stored directly on Google Earth. But a problem is the image size for large caches. Geocache Google Earth Viewer doesn’t always generates images that are small enough for Google Maps. This can be fixed, but the cache information cannot.
